About the event
Join us for a warm, soul-stirring evening of food, song, and community at Community Roots.
Enjoy a hearty Roots supper made with seasonal vegetables – plant-based, gluten-free, and full of flavour – followed by music from the incredible Femmes de la Mer.
Doors open at 6.30pm with food served between 6.30 and 7.30pm, before the music begins.
All funds raised will go directly to support Community Roots CIC, helping us grow more food, skills, and community connections here in Cornwall.
Femmes de la Mer are a women+ sea shanty group from across Cornwall, led by musical director Claire Ingleheart.
Celebrated for their rich harmonies and bold interpretations of traditional songs, they bring the voices and stories of Cornish women to life through music.
